Please note that the shop is now based in The Lookout. This superb viewing facility and shop is located on the west side of the entrance road to the reserve. Free parking exemptions are available. It is open 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, between 10am and 4pm each day.

The reserve is around 1 mile from junction 31 of the M6 and there is plenty of  car parking. The nearest station is Preston which is around 4.5 miles away – for further information call 0345 484950. Buses run to The Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel (about 20 minutes walk to our shop) from Lancaster Road in Preston town centre (about 15 minutes walk from the station). Sales of binoculars and telescopes in Lancashire

In Focus’ shop at Brockholes Nature Reserve sells a wide range of binoculars, telescopes and birdwatching equipment from leading manufacturers such as Opticron, Zeiss, Nikon, Swarovski and Steiner as well as our own brand, Delta. We stock binoculars, telescopes, eyepieces, tripods and digiscoping kit as well as accessories and birding books.

Situated in The Lookout hide overlooking the large pond on the west side of the access road to the reserve (off junction 31 of the M6), our shop has superb optics testing facilities. Parking is available outside The Lookout so you don’t need to drive to the main car park.
