GS fieldscopes are protected by 'full body' natural rubber armour with textured finish to the top half of the main body prism housing. The centrally positioned focussing wheel allows easy access for both right and left handed users and is also rubber covered delivering a positive feel with or without gloves.

The ES80 GA ED V3 is a step up from the standard and uses an ED objective. This extra low dispersion glass element within the objective lens system virtually eliminates the distorting effects of chromatic abberation at magnifications over 35x. The HDF 20-60x works like a dream on this scope, a wide field of view, excellent resolution and a lack of chromatic abberation.
