Blashford Lakes is 2 miles north of Ringwood on the A338, turn right (east) onto Ellingham Drove, the reserve entrance is after 500 yards with main car park to the left and Education Centre to the right. Main car park is at SU151083. Please follow In Focus signs.

Durlston country park is situated on the cliff top at the southern end of Swanage which in turn is reached by the A351 from Wareham. Turn right at the sea front in Swanage and follow one way system to the town pier, from here clear directions are supplied via council signs.

Situated south west of Plymouth, Wembury Marine Centre is accessed by following Wembury signs at Elburton on the A379 Plymouth to Kingsbridge road, then on reaching Wembury follow directions for the Beach. The centre is in the beach car park. Cafe and toilet facilities are available. Viewing around the Mewstone can produce good numbers of sea birds whilst the coastal path holds good numbers of resident and migrant passerines.
